Baker Development Corporation has announced the start of pre-leasing at ELEVATE Lincoln Park, an 11-story, mixed-use development that will bring 191 luxury apartments and 16,000 square feet of street-level retail to the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Luxury Living Chicago Realty is serving as the exclusive leasing brokerage for the community, at 930 W. Altgeld Street, which is welcoming its first residents this month.
“Chicago’s best neighborhood just got better,” said Dan Slack, principal of Baker Development Corporation. “Meticulous planning has gone into every detail of the building to deliver a truly exceptional residential experience—one that brings the Gold Coast-type exclusivity to the epicenter of this vibrant neighborhood with condo-quality floor plans and finishes, and five-star amenities that are unparalleled in this location. Pre-leasing has been strong, and we look forward to continuing that momentum in the spring.”
Located next to the newly renovated Apollo Theater, the Solomon Cordwell Buenz-designed building is the first new-construction rental development built in the immediate area in nearly three decades. Residences range from 464 to 1,430 square feet, including a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in 66 different layouts. Condo-quality finishes comprise floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank flooring and modern kitchens with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Custom closet systems and solar shades are included in all bedrooms and the residences also include in-unit laundry.
“As Lincoln Park’s first Class A apartment building, ELEVATE has been a widely anticipated addition to the neighborhood, drawing interest from people who already live here and others who are looking to relocate,” said Aaron Galvin, founder and CEO of Luxury Living Chicago Realty. “The closer the building gets to completion, the more inquiries we receive, so we expect the units to fill up quickly.”
The nearly 20,000 square feet of amenity space at ELEVATE includes two outdoor terraces with lounge seating, grills, fire pits and a plunge pool. The penthouse level features a party room and demonstration kitchen, workstations and a conference room, as well as seating areas with multiple large-screen TVs.
